You acknowledge that vehicle remapping involves modifying the electronic control unit (ECU) software or other engine management systems of your vehicle. While remapping may deliver increased performance, improved fuel efficiency, or other perceived benefits, it carries inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to:
Potential damage to your engine, transmission, driveline, or other vehicle components.
Voiding of any manufacturer or third-party warranties.
Non-compliance with local, regional, or national vehicle regulations, including but not limited to emissions standards under the UK Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986.

2. Professional Installation
You agree that any remapping or tuning services must be carried out by suitably qualified and experienced professionals. We recommend that you verify our credentials and consult with us about your specific vehicle before authorising any modifications.

3. Warranty & Manufacturer Conditions
You acknowledge that any modification to your vehicle’s ECU software, engine management system, or related components may invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty and may also affect your insurance policy. You accept full responsibility for confirming the impact of such modifications with your vehicle manufacturer and your insurer before proceeding.

4. Legal Compliance
You agree that it is solely your responsibility to ensure your vehicle remains compliant with all applicable UK laws, regulations, and MOT requirements, including emissions standards and noise limits. BRS will not be held liable for any fines, penalties, vehicle impoundments, failed MOTs, or other legal consequences resulting from modifications carried out at your request.

5. Limitation of Liability
All vehicle modifications are undertaken strictly at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BRS, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages or losses arising out of or relating to the remapping process, including but not limited to mechanical failures, loss of vehicle value, or third-party claims.

6. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BRS, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with any modification performed at your request.

7. Performance Disclaimer
Performance gains vary between vehicles depending on age, mechanical condition, previous modifications, and maintenance history. While BRS will make reasonable efforts to deliver the requested outcomes, we do not guarantee any specific performance result.

8. Ongoing Maintenance & Inspections
Following any remapping or modifications, you accept sole responsibility for carrying out regular inspections, servicing, and maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and any advice provided by BRS.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Disclaimer and any dispute or claim arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
